JERS to move to the Tri Main Building July, 2010
As Journey’s End Refugee Services (JERS) celebrates its 25th anniversary, it is experiencing unprecedented growth. Journey’s End has seen it’s staff expand by 75% over the last two years adding 12 full time positions and dozens of staff interpreters. The agency’s new 7200 square foot office in the Tri-Main Center (view map) will allow Journey’s End to make the most of its increased capacity to better meet current and future needs of its clients. The Barton Street office will be closing 7/13/2010 and the new location will open 7/20/2010.

Refugees: Buffalo's New Generation Documentary Now Available Online Through Chance Encounter Productions
The Refugee School Impact Program, a department of Journey’s End Refugee Service Inc, specializes in outreach to refugee students in the city of Buffalo. Since it’s inception in June of 2007, the program has made great strides towards easing the transition of refugee children into the Buffalo Public School System.  Refugees: Buffalo's New Generation illuminates the issues that refugee students face and how the RSIP team works closely with the families and schools to help bridge the existing cultural and linguistic gap.
