Volunteer Orientation
All new volunteers must participate in an orientation which focuses on the the refugee process, issues faced by newcomers, cultural differences and agency procedures.
Since Journey’s End’s clientele is a most vulnerable population, any volunteer wishing to provide direct services must undergo a background check.
Picture ID and 3 references (NOT family) are also required.
Seating for each orientation is limited to 15; reservations are required to guarantee a space & materials.
