Clothes:

Journey’s End can only accept winter coats and jackets for children and adults (no XL-XXL sizes, please), mittens and gloves, and scarves and hats, due to a lack of storage space. All items must be new or gently-used and clean (no donations exposed to cigarette smoke or pet hair, please).

Journey's End CANNOT accept:

  • large TV/entertainment centers

  • hutches, china cabinets or credenzas

  • filing cabinets

  • futons

  • old computer tables

  • used computers

  • old microwaves

  • old toasters

  • old televisions

  • sofa beds

  • mattresses

  • box springs

  • head boards or bed frames

  • large appliances (stoves, ovens and refrigerators)

  • decorative or holiday items

Donation Drives:

We always welcome businesses, faith groups, schools, clubs, and even individuals who are interested in doing donation drives for our refugee clients.

Drives to collect coats, umbrellas, baby wipes, diapers, toiletries, cleaning and school supplies or other items for our clients are a great way for groups to support refugees.

Please contact us before undertaking any donation drive. Due to limited storage space, we cannot accept items that are collected without consulting our staff. When you have completed your donation drive, you must make an appointment for dropping off the items.

Please email us and share your ideas, and we can let you know the items our clients are in particular need of at that time. Thank you for your cooperation!

Furniture:

Journey's End accepts very limited donations of couches, kitchen tables, chairs, and bedroom dressers, on an as-needed basis. PLEASE - no furniture from households with smokers or pets. We provide our clients with furniture that is not stained, damaged, or torn. Everything must be clean and in very good condition. Pick-ups must be scheduled with us and occur during the work week. There are no pick-ups on Saturday or Sunday.

For furniture donations that are in alignment with the requirements outlined above, it is highly preferred that you email your inquiry along with a photo of the furniture and your phone number. We will get back to you within five working days if there is a need.
